About SURF

SURF is a Christian-based activity day, (once a week for six months), dedicated to helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities grow in their faith and reach their full potential in life. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive community where individuals can connect with God and others, learn new skills, and discover their purpose. Our values include compassion, respect, inclusion, and excellence as we strive to serve and empower our participants.

Our Mission

At SURF, we believe that every person is created in the image of God and has inherent value and worth. Through our Christian-based activity day, we aim to share the love of Christ with our participants and help them develop their spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being. Our goal is to provide a holistic approach to care that supports individuals in all areas of life and promotes their independence and dignity.

We strive to create an inclusive community where everyone feels welcome and valued. We are committed to excellence in all aspects of our program activity day, from our staff and volunteers to our facilities and resources.

"A Christian-based activity like SURF will be such a blessing to our family. Our desire is for our son to grow in Christ, and having this once a week activity is an answer to our prayers. We are grateful The Naslund & Naslund Foundation has started a Christian-based activity day for adults with intellectual and developmental abilities."

Rebecca and Jason Melville

"I have been familiar with The Naslund & Naslund Foundation for several months through their Light Of Hope Program and it has been a joy to see the participants grow and thrive. I believe this  once a week activity, SURF, will be just as successful, and will truly makes a difference in the lives of the participants."

Catherine Elders

"I highly recommend SURF to anyone looking for a caring and supportive community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They will be doing great work and making a real impact."
